The Story of S&B ATELIER

From the city of Jerash, Sara Abu Alawi launched her project S&B ATELIER to design innovative handmade décor pieces that carry her unique signature. Her journey began with a passion for handmade creativity, where she found in the craft both an outlet for her artistic ideas and a way to turn them into tangible products.

Inspiration and Self-Learning

At the start, Sara found support from her family and friends, who encouraged her to develop her skills and turn her passion into a real project. She taught herself by watching videos and experimenting at home, which helped her shape her own style and produce unique artistic pieces.

Materials and Artistic Identity

In her work, Sara uses core materials such as gypsum, white cement, and concrete, adding subtle details that make each piece distinctive. What makes her products stand out is that every piece is inspired by nature and infused with touches of traditional Jordanian embroidery—expressing a genuine local identity blended with a modern twist.

Impact and Future Vision

Sara says: “This craft changed my lifestyle because it combined my passion for creativity with my goal of building an independent income source.” Her project not only gave her financial independence but also helped her organize her time and see the fruits of her effort in people’s homes. Looking ahead, she aspires to expand her project to reach wider audiences locally and internationally, making S&B ATELIER a distinguished name in the world of handmade décor.
