The Story of Leen's Gift
Leen Al-Shamayleh, from Karak, is the founder of “Leen’s Gift.” A young woman who faced a difficult battle with cancer, Leen chose to transform pain into creativity and hope. What started as a way to fill her time during treatment soon became a journey of rediscovery. As she shares: "After being diagnosed with cancer, there was nothing I could do, so I tried to create my own path. Today, I carry beads in my hands—each thread I weave is not just a bag, but a testimony of life. Every necklace, every bracelet is a message of hope for those who come after me."
Support and Inspiration
Her family and nurses were her first supporters, encouraging her to pursue this craft as a way to heal. Through trial and self-learning, Leen developed her own unique style, one that reflects her story and resilience.
Products with a Human Message
At her store “Leen’s Gift,” she creates handbags, belts, hairbands, and pencil cases using beads, fishing threads, magnets, chains, and fabric linings. Each piece is more than an accessory—it is a handmade artwork infused with emotion and meaning. Beadwork became her form of therapy, helping her overcome the pain of chemotherapy and replacing it with fulfillment and joy.
Ambition and Distinction
Leen dreams of opening a shop unlike any other, not just a place to sell beaded items, but a world of artistry where each piece carries a personal touch. What sets her apart is that her creations are alive with spirit, each one telling a story of endurance, beauty, and life.
