From the city of Salt, Hind Abu Hazeem began her creative journey with a deep passion for handicrafts, believing that every handmade piece carries a unique soul and a story to tell. From this belief, her project “Hikaytna” (“Our Story”) was born — a space that embraces Jordanian heritage and presents it in a modern style that reflects both beauty and authenticity. Hind says: “I’ve always believed that every piece has a soul and a story — it’s not just a product.”
This passion drove her to create distinctive products such as notebooks decorated with traditional woven “basat” fabrics, hand-embroidered t-shirts and hoodies, heritage-inspired accessories, and handbags made from traditional textiles. Each piece blends threads, fabrics, metal, and even recycled acorns to tell stories inspired by Jordanian heritage in a contemporary way that highlights craftsmanship and innovation.
Hind’s journey was not a solo one — she found inspiration and support from her friend, husband, and family, who stood by her side from the very beginning. She learned the craft through training and practice, mastering every detail to produce pieces that combine high craftsmanship with a unique artistic touch reflecting her identity and passion.
The “Hikaytna” project transformed Hind’s life, making her more organized, confident, and fulfilled. It opened new horizons in the world of creativity and human connections. Her ambition is to grow her brand internationally, turning it into a symbol that blends Jordanian heritage with modern innovation.
These products were supported through Khairat Al-Dar project.
