The Story of Arar Store
Rahaf, a young Jordanian born in 1996 from Jerash, is the founder of Arar Store, where she transformed her love for Jordanian heritage into a project that radiates authenticity and beauty. She named her store after the aromatic wild arar plant that grows in the mountains of Jordan, a name also tied to the poet Mustafa Wahbi Al-Tal (Arar), a symbol of literature and national identity. Through this, her products became a small window into the history and culture of her homeland.
As Rahaf explains: “I started from my love for traditional things and my passion to present them in a practical way we can use in our daily lives.” Through constant experimentation, she developed unique products such as cups, flasks, magnets, and keychains—all inspired by Jordanian heritage, yet designed in a modern and practical style. Each piece is carefully handmade, combining beauty with functionality and telling the story of Jordan to whoever owns it.
Rahaf believes that her craft is not just about creating products but about embracing an experience filled with patience and passion. For her, every item becomes a memory and a celebration of heritage. She aspires to expand her project so that Arar Store becomes a distinguished brand, one that unites tradition, authenticity, and modern creativity.
These products were supported through Khairat Al-Dar,
a digital platform launched by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship as a pilot initiative to empower home-based businesses in Jordan, providing them with an integrated environment to market their products in a modern and effective way.
